Munster have recorded their first ever victory at the Aviva Stadium. A stunning first half performance saw Anthony Foley's men beat arch rivals Leinster 34-23 in a dramatic Guinness Pro 12 derby.
Trys from James Cronin, Robin Copeland and Ian Keatley handed the visitors a 28 -9 lead at half time. Leinster mounted a comeback after the break. They closed the gap to 8 points with 10 minutes remaining, but Munster held out despite having four players sin binned during the second half.
Few would have predicated the result considering the Southern Province's difficult start to the season. They were beaten at Thomond Park by Edinburgh and Ospreys. Once again Munster proved they can never be written off. A ferociously physical and intense performance allowed them to dominate Leinster for large periods of the game, and claim their first win in Dublin since 2008.
