Shane Long's injury-time equaliser rescued a crucial 1-1 draw for the Republic of Ireland against Group D leaders Poland at the Aviva Stadium in their Euro 2016 qualifier.
Robbie Brady who started at left back, was caught in possession and Poland took full advantage with Slawomir Peszko finding the net in the 26th minute.
Ireland were second best in the first half but they dominated the second half and hit the post twice before substitute Long equalised in the 91st minute.
The result means that after five games Poland top the group on 11 points, Scotland and Germany are on 10 points and Ireland are on 8 points. Scotland beat Gibraltar 6-1 at Hampden Park while World champions Germany won 2-0 away Georgia.
