Alongside two Champions League titles, one UEFA Cup title and seven domestic titles, Jose Mourihno has a new string to add to add to his bow. The most famous football manager in the world is set to appear on television in a whole new guise.
‘Jose Mourinho and the Special Ones’ is a new children's cartoon which is set to hit TV screens in Portugal in the next few days, with the Chelsea manager's endorsement.
Created by Sport Stars Media, the programme tells the story of a young boy who gets spotted by Mourinho in a local match and his transformation into a global soccer superstar. The show will also have a trading card game tie-in and a mobile app to follow
"I believe the series Mourinho and the Special Ones truly combines education and entertainment," said Mourihno at the launch of the venture. "I am proud to be part of this project."
