Irish Government Looking At Hosting Open Championship
The Government is looking at the possibility of hosting the Open Championship.
It would be held at Portmarnock Golf Club in north Dublin.
The competition is rotated around a number of coastal golf courses in Britain and the north.
The major golf tournament will be held at Portrush next year.
It would also look to host the Women's Open Championship at the same venue.
