Finn Harps have completed the signing of Bastien Hery.
The Madagascar international has been a nomadic figure in recent years, leaving Linfield for Bohemians in January of last year, before spending five months on loan at Derry.
It was a disappointing 2021 for Hery, making only 5 appearances for Bohs before another 11 with the Candystripes.
In joining Harps, he links up with former Linfield teammate Ethan Boyle with whom he won a Danske Bank Premiership title in 2020.
“I am excited to be at Harps," said the 29-year old, "When I spoke to Ollie [Horgan] and he explained his plan for the team I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of.
"Everyone knows Finn Park is a tough place to go so I’m looking forward to playing there as a Finn Harps player this season.”
Horgan has been busy in the close season, adding Spanish defender Jose Carrillo to their ranks, along with former Cork City defender Rob Slevin, and winger Jesse Devers.
"Bastien is a talented lad who will give us a lift," said Horgan, "especially going forward.
"He knows the league well, and knows what it takes to get results in what will be a very tough Premier Division.”
