Three-time major winner Padraig Harrington has been forced to withdraw from the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am after testing positive for COVID-19.
The PGA Tour confirmed the news in a short statement released on Tuesday which read:
"The European Ryder Cup captain has competed in one PGA Tour event this year, missing the cut in last week's Waste Management Phoenix Open.
"First alternate Sangmoon Bae will replace Harrington in the field."

A second round of two over par 73 meant that Harrington didn't stay for the weekend action in Arizona.
He got off to the perfect start with three early birdies but dropped three shots to finish his front nine. Three more shots were lost before a closing birdie on the par four 17th hole.
It was Harrington's third outing of 2021. He finished 3 over par and in a tie for 62nd place at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship last month.
A final round of two under 70 was good enough for a tie for 6th at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
