Sir Peter O'Sullevan is rightly regarded as 'The Voice' of racing, and many grew up listening to his iconic commentaries of the Grand National at Aintree, the Cheltenham Festival and Royal Ascot.
The great man, who was born in Cork, is 96 today.
Here are a selection of some of his greatest calls:
Dawn Run in the 1986 Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Red Rum in the 1973 Grand National.
And Lord Gyllene, O'Sullevan's 50th and final Grand National call in 1997.
