Dublin's long-serving centre-half-back Ger Brennan chatted to Ray D’Arcy this morning, hours after Dublin’s win against Mayo in the All Ireland Football final.
Ger admitted that, although Dublin were giving Mayo too much time on the ball in the first half, it was a calm dressing room at half time and the lads kept their heads.
Speaking modestly about his own crucial point, he said it was a bit of good fortune.
He also revealed that Dublin Captain Stephen Cluxton does smile!
50,000 fans are expected to descend on Dublin’s Merrion Square for Sam’s homecoming tonight at 7pm.
