Damien Duff has completed building his Shelbourne squad with the addition of Jordan McEneff from Arsenal.
The 21-year old will spend the season on loan at the newly-promoted Tolka Park club.
He's the younger brother of ex-Shamrock Rovers winger Aaron McEneff, who's now at Scottish Premiership side Hearts.
McEneff is the product of Derry City's academy, joining Arsenal back in 2016. He's a Republic of Ireland underage international, making two appearances for the U17 in 2018, in Euro qualifiers with Macedonia and Poland.
Although injuries have hampered his progress through the Arsenal ranks, the midfielder was a second half substitute for the Gunners U23 side in a 1-1 draw with Derby near the end of January.
"Jordan is a brilliant, exciting signing and also the last player that will arrive in this window," said Duff, "It is a brand new squad that is hungry and desperate to succeed and the players will be brilliant for Jordan.
"He has amazing quality but has had a difficult time with injuries. We aim to get him fit, keep him fit and get him back to his very best.”
McEneff added, “When Damien rang me it was very exciting and he understands how it is in England for me.
"The squad seems very exciting and the set up is very attractive.
"I know how good the league is and with the club promoted recently it is going in the right direction.
"Most teams in the league will be really competitive and I’m looking forward to playing first team football with excellent coaching staff around the club.”
