Kevin De Bruyne says he is 'okay' after breaking his nose and fracturing his eye socket in the Champions League final defeat to Chelsea.
What was predicted to be a night for glory for the Manchester City captain turned into a living nightmare as he had to be taken off following a nasty clash with Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger on the hour mark.
He appeared to look concussed as he made his way down the tunnel in Porto, and his City team-mates couldn't give him the fairytale result, as Chelsea won 1-0 to upset the odds.
De Bruyne tweeted: "Hi guys, just got back from the hospital. My diagnosis is acute nose bone fracture and left orbital fracture. I feel okay now."
