Seamus "Cheddar" Plunkett is set to be confirmed as the new Laois senior hurling manager.
He'll replace Eddie Brennan, who stepped down last month.
Plunkett's name has been formally proposed by the Laois GAA management committee, with only rubber-stamping required by the county board.
He previously reigned over the O'Moore hurlers from 2012 to 2016, helping them reach Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League.
Laois Gaa management committee are delighted to propose Seamas Plunkett as Senior Hurling Manager to Laois County Committee with confirmation of his back room team and management to be confirmed at a later date.

He made Laois competitive in the Championship, as they defeated Offaly and ran Galway close on a couple of occasions.
In recent years, he's coached Portlaoise and Kilkenny club, James Stephens.
Confirmation of Plunkett's backroom team will be confirmed at a later date.
