Gaelic football is not in crisis right? That's the message from the GAA President Aogán Ó Fearghail after a week which was littered with debate and opinion after the Dublin v Derry Allianz League game at the weekend. The Cavan man warned against an overreaction after what he said was simply a lowscoring match. He made his remarks at the press conference to confirm Joe Kernan as the man to lead Ireland in the 2015 International Rules test against Australia (AFL) in Croke Park on November 21st.
The former All-Ireland winning club and county manager with Crossmaglen Rangers and Armagh will have some backroom team in Dermot Earley, Darragh O' Se and Padraic Joyce. And for the record Joe won't be trying the blanket defence!
