Ireland winger Jacob Stockdale is confident that Jordan Larmour and Andrew Conway will slot in well against Scotland in their World Cup opener tomorrow.
Speedster Larmour is in at full-back for his injured Leinster team-mate Rob Kearney with Andrew Conway in for Keith Earls on the wing.
"Obviously it's a loss not to have Rob Kearney and Keith Earls, as they are so experienced," said Stockdale of the injured duo.
"But Andrew Conway and Jordan Larmour have played a lot of rugby for Ireland, and I've played a fair bit of rugby with them too.
"They are both exciting players to get to play with. They want to get onto the ball and attack, so as a winger that's very exciting.
The Ulster wing is hoping that Ireland can get a flying start against Scotland in what's just their second-ever World Cup meeting.
"When the pre-season started you thought it was going to be an age but it's come around very quickly.
"The buzz around the World Cup in general, it's a weird feeling to see it kick-off and that it's finally started.
"You can get a lot of messages from home, there's a lot of buzz from home with people saying they are looking forward to watching it.
