Leicester City has completed the signing of Ayoze Pérez from Newcastle.
He's signed a four-year contract with the Foxes after they paid his 30-million pounds buy-out clause.
Perez scored 13 goals in all competitions for Newcastle last season and says he's "happy and very pleased" to join Brendan Rodgers' side.
"I’m very proud to be part of the Leicester family and I can’t wait to get started.
“I like the ambition of the Club. They want to keep growing as much as they can and that’s something I liked. I spoke with the manager – that was an important fact. That made me feel very comfortable about the decision to come here.
“He’s such a great manager. We all know what we can do playing under him. Obviously, he’s been a big part of the deal, to make the decision, and in this case, to come to Leicester.
“Obviously, as a collective, we have to keep looking forward to try to get into the European positions, that’s the ambition, that’s where we have to think.
“Individually, as a striker, I have to help the team as much as I can with goals. That’s my main target."

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers feels the Spanish forward is a perfect fit for the Foxes.
“I think Ayoze will be a wonderful addition to the squad. He’s quick, has a good eye for goal and he’s experienced in the Premier League too.
“I think he’s a player who will excite our supporters, and his style is one that I believe complements the options and quality that we already have here at the Football Club.”
