Adelaide Crows have confirmed that Clare's Ailish Considine has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
It'll see the 2019 Premiership winner remain with the club for a fourth season.
Considine missed most of this year's campaign with concussion but featured in the Crows' loss to Brisbane in the Grand Final.
"I was training really well. The coaches were telling me that. But it wasn’t enough to get that break. It felt like a season out of my control," the attacker said recently of this year's campaign.
"Throughout the last few years, if I was dropped it was because I played a bad game. It was in my hands and I didn’t perform. This year, I don’t actually think I played badly in any game. It was just unlucky. The feedback was all positive. Coaches say, ‘keep doing what you’re doing, you are close.’”
Adelaide's captain Chelsea Randall has also extended her stay at the club until 2023 by signing a new contract today.
“This Club has been my home for the last five years and I am so thrilled to be signing on again with my Crows family,” Randall said of her new deal.
“I am so incredibly proud of what we have achieved and built so far and I look forward to the next chapter alongside my mates and the amazing staff.
