"There's so much pressure on autistic people to mold themselves to what we think is normal but really there's no such thing as normal."
It was really refreshing talking to Edel from Galway about her neurodiverse family. She told Alison that while they acknowledge the disability side of autism; the children do face significant challenges, it's also important to recognise that they have the right to be themselves.

This year the VHI Women's Mini Marathon is taking place between the 1st and the 10th of October and women across Ireland are running 10k during those 10 days, their way. The aim is to raise €10million for charities across Ireland.
