Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of The United States on January 20th.
It was an historic day because it was also the first time a woman became Vice-President.
However, it wasn't Joe or Kamala Harris that the headlines, it wasn't the superstars like Lady Gaga or Garth Brooks.
No, it was a pair of mittens worn by Bernie Sanders.

The Internet was quick to hunt down the woman responsible. Her name was Jen Ellis and she made the gloves for Bernie a few years before and he loved them! She only gave one radio and one TV interview then needed to get on with her life as a Primary school Teacher.
Life was back to normal but after her Gmail crashed and died with hundreds of thousands of emails and her phone shut off she spotted an email from TodayFM and said "Oh no I wanna talk to Ireland!!"
This week she got back to Weekend Breakfast to tell Alison Curtis; the madness of being a meme, that she once lived in Ireland and LOVES the country, she has a book on the way about the joy of generosity, how she has raised $150k already, Bernie sanders called her personally to tell her how she helped him raise $2 million for charity through the mittens, and she wants Anna Kendrick to play her in the movie!
