Plus his Jar Jar Binks Impression Is Spot On!

Children’s writer, Sarah Webb has invited well known people to record short inspirational videos for 6th class students to mark the end of their school year.

Writers, actors, sports people and scientists have all come on board to help the 6th class of 2020 graduate in style.

The videos went live yesterday and here's a teaser of Amy Huberman, Sinead Burke (an ex-primary teacher herself), Eoin Colfer, John Boyne and Gordon D’Arcy:

Author Paul Howard lends advice and encouragement on the video and he joined Alison on Weekend Breakfast to chat all about the transition from junior to senior school.

To watch the videos in full go to the Children’s Books Ireland website HERE!

They also chatted about the sequel of his book with Irish Rugby star Gordon D'Arcy and his obsession with Star Wars, with a fabulously accurate Jar Jar Binks impression.

Listen back to their chat by pressing the play button at the top of the screen.

Weekend Breakfast with Alison Curtis, Saturdays and Sundays from 8am!
