The reaction to this was massive!
We were so delighted to talk to legendary children's author Jacqueline Wilson on Weekend Breakfast. Jacqueline is famous for The Story of Tracy Beaker, Hetty Feather, and over a hundred other popular children's books.
Love Frankie is Jacqueline’s latest release (her 111th book!) and features her first ever gay romance. The book follows the story of a 14-year-old girl called Frankie, who lives with her single-parent mum and two sisters.
"I wanted to show that if there's any young person worrying about their sexuality, that it's just perfectly normal and you don't have to make a big deal about things."
Love Frankie is out now and has been getting rave reviews, it has been described as moving and powerful depiction of first love.
