Amy Poehler cannot wait to get to Ireland.
If there was no pandemic there's a good chance she would have physically graced us with her presence. (Red carpet, Presidential greeting and Jet flyover guaranteed!!)
Ahead of hosting The Golden Globes this weekend with her BFF and comedy wing-woman Tina Fay, she told Superfan Alison Curtis on Weekend Breakfast:
"IRELAND, let's go to Ireland - I wanna be there so bad!"
She may be one of Hollywood's funniest people but Amy is a woman of serious talent. Comedian, actress, producer, director and also Golden Globe and Emmy winner Amy Poehler joined Alison Curtis on Weekend Breakfast this Saturday morning to talk about her new movie Moxie.
Moxie is available globally on Netflix on March 3rd.
We’ve been calling it a coming of rage story. But it is really about young women finding their voice and deciding what they care about within the structure of what its like to be a real friend to be part of a community.
Amy Poehler's a fan of Ireland anyway: "IRELAND, let's go to Ireland - I wanna be there so bad!" 🇮🇪☘️@AlisonTodayFM chats to her hero #AmyPoehler about her new movie - #Moxie - which she describes as a “coming of rage story!” pic.twitter.com/IMqEhVF7oO
