In a nutshell, it’s a story of Irish tech company Logitech doing something a bit different, to give back this Christmas. They wanted to give back so decided to write a children’s book with their staff but faced problems as they’re all working from home. They decided to do it over zoom together and created a real team spirit of togetherness for a very worthwhile cause..
Conceived, designed, written edited and illustrated by 50 volunteers – all staff at Logitech.
They had many Zoom meeting (see below) and discussed making the book which included storytime Zooms!
The book is dedicated to a little Cork girl, Molly Daly. Molly is living with a rare disorder called Kabuki syndrome. Logitech have organised a recording of the book for Molly so that she can listen to if from her brand new iPad given to her by Make-a-Wish.
The book will raise vital funds for the Make A Wish foundation which has been hit so hard like many by the pandemic this year. Many wishes were cancelled or adjusted because of Covid.
