"The drunk dude who changed to a dude who made a difference" - that's how Rob describes himself.
In world full of living to work, materialistic tendencies and always wanting more, one man who has carved his own path in the opposite direction is adventurer, environmental activist and entrepreneur, Rob Greenfield.
You may have heard of Rob via some of his bizarre attention-grabbing stunts - such as his 'Trash me' suit, where he wore a suit of rubbish for 30 days. The average American creates approximately 4.5lbs of trash each day, so he added 4.5lbs each of the 30 days as a visual to positive change.

The 31-year-old has now made it his life's purpose to inspire a healthy Earth.
Here's a timeline of his transformation:
This morning, Dermot and Dave gave the visionary a call to hear about his journey in all its glory.
We learned of his Food Waste Fiasco campaign, dumpster diving, the incredible sacrifices he has made, how he's building a house from repurposed materials (for under $2,000) and why he has no real need for money.
The lads also asked him for some advice on how we here in Ireland can help out the planet. Who knew our cattle industry was "the largest destroyer of the natural environment"?
Travelling the world, answering to nobody, being healthy as a trout and living debt & rent free?? I think this guy is definitely on to something.
