Fresh from the release of her fifth studio album 'Róisín Machine', Róisín Murphy caught up with Paul to chat all about the sound of the album, and what the future holds.
'Róisín Machine' was ten years in the making and sees Róisín team up with her long-time collaborator Parrot. While she says you can skip through and pick out certain tracks, the album really benefits from being listened to in one uninterrupted sitting.
She's spent lockdown working on the next couple of projects, but Róisín is not sure about music after that. She is very interested in pursuing her fascination with faces and venturing into film.
One thing Róisín is sure of is that we will find a way to have live music back again in the next 12 months, and once we're back in the room we'll forget all about what's outside the door.
