Sarah McTernan represents Ireland in tonight's second Eurovision semi-final in Tel Aviv, but will you be watching?
Zoe Lawlor of the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign says: "We'd be quite positive that a lot of people will not turn on their TVs to watch the Eurovision in Israel."
"For many people, that's all they can do to voice their objection. It's a show of solidarity with the Palestinian people."
Although the campaign for RTÉ to boycott the contest was ultimately unsuccessful, Zoe still feels it succeeded in garnering support for Palestinians, both in Ireland and internationally.
Israeli Ambassador to Ireland, Ophir Kariv, feels that boycotting the Eurovision would not make any difference.
"Those who take the road of boycott take the easy, lazy way. It doesn't force you to think about things and really figure out such a complicated conflict."
"Those Irish people who really are interested in getting involved must engage in discourse with both sides and try and understand the problems that are facing both sides."
