Over the weekend large gatherings of people were recorded drinking on the streets of Dublin city Centre causing outrage on social media.
As a result, the government is now taking steps to ban the sale of takeaway alcohol from pubs.
Many people online have said that this kind of behaviour is "selfish" and disrespectful to those affected by Covid-19.
However, others have felt that people are simply fed up with level 5 restrictions and need to socialise.
Matt was joined by Fine Gael Senator Mary Seery Kearney who said the videos show a clear violation of the restrictions.
He also spoke to Journalist Larissa Nolan who feels there is not enough footage to prove what happened and we cannot be relying on "surveillance society".
