The Dáil's final day before its summer break descended into chaos as a row broke out among TDs over speaking rights.
The day also saw Green Party TD Neasa Hourigan resign as party whip after voting against the Government twice on amendments to the Residential Tenancies Bill.
She and Minister of State Joe O'Brien, who abstained from voting, have both been banned from speaking in the chamber for two months.

Daniel McConnell, political editor of the Irish Examiner, and Lorna Bogue, Green Party Councillor for Cork City, joined us to discuss this.
