As Easter weekend approaches, there are already reports of people travelling to their holiday homes in other parts of the country.
However, experts are warning that this weekend will be critical in terms of preventing the spread of COVID-19.
We spoke to Paddy Mallon, Professor of Microbial Diseases at the UCD School of Medicine, and Pete Lunn, head of the ESRI's Behavioural Research Unit and a member of the National Public Health Emergency Team's behavioural change subgroup, about why it's make or break.
