With restrictions easing and pubs reopening, social media has been awash with videos and images showing crowds gathering on the streets to socialise.
This has provoked a countrywide debate about why some people have been quick to forget the past few months of precautions in favour of getting back to normal, while others are continuing to stay home as much as possible.
Dr Deirdre Robertson from the Behavioural Research Unit of the ESRI joined us to talk about research into people's perceptions of risk and how we are all re-entering society at different rates.
