Are you giving up on using cash in favour of card payments?
It seems this is having an impact on the finances of the Catholic Church, who are not only experiencing a fall in the numbers of people attending mass, but also a decrease in cash donations.
As a result, five churches in Dublin are set to pilot contactless card machines, with other parishes expected to follow suit in the coming months.
Will it work? Can you imagine parishioners making donations by card in the middle of mass?
