The ban was introduced in Rockland County this week after 153 cases of measles were confirmed in the area.
Children who have not been vaccinated are prevented from being in places with more than ten people. This includes public transport.
Is it a necessary step to contain the outbreak and protect other children?
Breda Brown and Donal O'Donoghue discussed this and some of the other stories making the news this week.
