Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has described racism as a virus, and said that we "don't have to look across the Atlantic" to find it.
Speaking in the Dáil yesterday, he said that there had been an "absence of moral leadership" in the United States in the wake of George Floyd's death, and that we have "many examples" of racism in Ireland which need to be tackled.
