Lorraine Clifford-Lee has apologised for the language she used in past tweets about travellers.
Speaking on Morning Ireland, the Fianna Fáil Senator said that she has educated herself on minority issues in the years since making the comments. She also met with Pavee Point, who accepted her apology.
