Donald Trump falsely claimed victory in the US presidential election on Tuesday night, fuelling speculation that he could refuse to concede defeat to Joe Biden.
This has prompted many people to compare his behaviour to that of previous losing candidates.
The concession speeches of George Bush Senior, who lost to Bill Clinton in 1992, and John McCain, who lost the 2008 election to Barack Obama, have gone viral in recent days. Both candidates were noted for being gracious in defeat.
