The Irish Farmers' Association has slammed Minister Richard Bruton's endorsement of a campaign to encourage secondary school pupils to eat less meat and dairy.
The campaign is aimed at taking action on climate change, and would include running 'Meat Free Monday' in schools.
However, the IFA has accused the government of engaging in "propaganda" by endorsing the proposal.
