Should we all be wearing face masks when out in public?
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the use of masks in situations where physical distancing cannot be observed.
However, the World Health Organization argues that there is not enough evidence to show they are effective for the general public, and that wearing them might divert masks away from healthcare workers and those who are sick. There are also issues with many people not wearing masks correctly.
