New research from Ibec has found that women have taken on more of the burden of family care during the pandemic than male colleagues.
According to the survey, 20% of employers noted increased pressure on female workers and increased childcare responsibilities due to homeschooling, while 31% of respondents said more women than men had requested unpaid leave due to family caring responsibilities.
