There are growing concerns about the number of American tourists in Ireland, with calls for the Government to suspend flights from the United States and other COVID-19 hotspots.
Ireland is the only EU country currently allowing American tourists in, despite the surge in COVID-19 cases in many US states. There have also been reports of tourists failing to quarantine for 14 days as required.
