Colleges and universities will take different approaches to the return of on-campus learning this year.
It's being reported that University College Dublin will have full sized lectures with up to 500 students in attendance, on the condition they all wear face masks.
While Trinity College Dublin says it will limit the numbers in lecture theatres to 150 students, with lecture sizes over that number moving online.
