A review into changes made to Ireland's laws on prostitution three years ago is now underway.
These changes included decriminalising sex workers and making it an offence to pay for sex with a prostitute or a trafficked person.
In the first of a two-part series, we looked at whether the changes and additions to the law have served their purpose and made a difference to the welfare of sex workers.
Paul Ryan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Maynooth University, and Kate McGrew, director of the Sex Workers Alliance, joined us to give their thoughts.
