A Dublin taxi driver who sexually assaulted a passenger after she passed out in his car has been jailed for four years.
The victim told Gardaí that she woke up to find 60-year-old Gerard Gunnery Snr assaulting her.
When she objected to what was happening, he became aggressive and threw her out of the car, leaving her on the side of the road.
The woman managed to take a picture of Gunnery's registration plate before he drove away, which led to his subsequent identification by Gardaí.
Courts correspondent Frank Greaney appeared on The Last Word with further details about the case.
