It's usually a busy time of year for Irish airports as people come home for Christmas.
However, Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has urged people abroad not to book flights as it's too early to know what restrictions will be in place.
Hildegarde Naughton, Minister of State for International and Road Transport and Logistics, told The Last Word that "there will be clarity in the weeks ahead".
She was joined by Donall O'Keeffe, Chief Executive of the Licensed Vintners Association, who discussed the possibility of pubs and restaurants being given the green light to reopen in December.
