A refurbished phone, tablet or laptop is a pre-owned device that's undergone any necessary repairs and passed a set of tests to prove it's in working order.
There are several different circumstances in which a device might be refurbished. It may have been traded in for an upgrade, been returned due to a fault or the customer changing their mind, or it's not ready to be recycled.
