A primary school in Kerry is closing on public health advice after an outbreak of COVID-19.
Pupils and staff at Scoil Mhuire in Killorglin have been asked to restrict their movements until 30 December, with 17 cases of the virus having been recorded at the school in the last number of days.
People Before Profit TD Brid Smith is calling for schools to close tomorrow until the middle of January in order to stop the spread.
