Ryanair is to resume 40% of its flights from 1 July.

Passengers will have to comply with a number of measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, including temperature checks at airport entrances, wearing face masks in the terminal and on board aircraft, and downloading boarding passes to their phones.

Full details of the measures can be found in a video on Ryanair's website and social media channels.

Ian Guider, markets editor of the Business Post, joined us for our daily business update with this story and more, including:

  • AIB says it has set aside €210 million for loan losses so far because of COVID-19 and it expects this figure to rise
  • Ibec wants a further €15 billion pumped into the economy to rebuild it after COVID-19
  • McDonald's will reopen six drive-thru restaurants in Ireland next week
