Robert Mueller, who wrote the report on the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, is to give five hours of testimony to Congress tomorrow.
In an interview with Fox News, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Jerrold Nadler explained that it was important for the American people to hear from Mueller directly about what the report found.
He stated that Donald Trump, the Attorney General and others had spent the last few months "systematically lying to the American people" about the findings of the report, and that claims of no collusion or obstruction and complete exoneration were "absolute lies".
He added that "no president can be above the law".
Cal Thomas and Larry Donnelly discussed this in our US slot.
They also covered the two-year budget deal between Trump and the Democrats that raises the debt ceiling, and Trump's bogus claim that India's Prime Minister asked him to 'mediate' with Pakistan.
