Further restrictions are being considered for Dublin and other counties as the number of COVID-19 infections is expected to continue rising over the coming days.
Officials are closely monitoring the situation in Louth, Waterford, Limerick, Kildare, Leitrim, Donegal, Offaly and Wicklow.
There are also concerns over a rise in hospital admissions.
