Tourism Minister Shane Ross has announced a State guarantee to support travel agents hit by the COVID-19 crisis.
It comes in the form of a refund credit note for package holidays booked through Irish-registered travel agents and tour operators. This will be offered to customers in circumstances where the travel agent is unable to provide a cash refund.
