Many retailers have opened their doors today as the country enters phase two of the accelerated roadmap to ease COVID-19 restrictions.
But consumers are being warned that the shopping experience will be very different to how it was before the pandemic, with many shops discouraging browsing, introducing queuing and putting additional hygiene measures in place.
We spoke to Eamon O'Boyle, Chartered Engineer and Director of Eamon O'Boyle and Associates, Jean McCabe, Deputy Chair of Retail Excellence Ireland and owner of Willow, and Vinny Browne, Event Manager of Charlie Byrne's Bookshop in Galway, about how they are adapting to the changes.
