It is most commonly seen in women but can also occur in men. There is a one in eight lifetime risk of developing breast cancer.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and at a time when treatment of other illnesses is often missed or delayed due to COVID-19, it's never been more important to know the signs of breast cancer and attend for screening when called.
