New COVID-19 restrictions were brought in yesterday, but they have caused widespread confusion and tension.
People are being advised not to use public transport but can still send their children to school on buses, while no spectators are allowed at sporting events but you can still go to pubs and restaurants.
Kingston Mills, Professor of Experimental Immunology at Trinity College Dublin, and Damien English, Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail, joined us to discuss these inconsistencies.
We also spoke to behavioural psychologist Pete Lunn, head of the ESRI's Behavioural Research Unit and a member of NPHET's behavioural change subgroup, about whether people will be able to stomach further restrictions, and Independent Newspapers political editor Philip Ryan on tensions in government.
